Hello,
An architecture student asked me to do 3D shots for his graduation project
Can I use his 3Ds max student license on his PC to get the job done and charge him for my effort and time?
thanx

Hi ahmad_masarani, welcome to the Autodesk Community!
Thank you for your question, it's definitely an important one.
Student software are meant to be use only for learning our programs. Making any kind of money or commercial profit using Autodesk student licenses goes against the End License User Agreement and could have legal consequences.
I hope this helps!
Thank you Camilo, Sure it helps.
So for this type of student project I think I should rent 3Ds max for 1 mounth
But can I rent it in my area? I live in Amman - Jordan
Thank you, I will see what I can do.
What about teaching students on there license and charge them for each class?
Regards
Hi Ahmad,
Student licenses really are for learning, not making profit. There is no way around that, I'm afraid. Even if your students were to download student licenses to learn from you, they would have to accept terms & conditions which state that they are enrolled at a degree-granting educational institution.
As mentioned before, you could always try to contact an authorized educational reseller for discounted prices on educational licenses for instructors and educators.
Another option would be for you to register as an Educational Institution. This can be done directly with the Education Community support team linked here.
Best regards,
