Raster design license not found

I recently changed machines where my Raster design network license was stored.

I have a new license file with new server name and physical address.

I have 6 network licenses, only three of my users can connect to the license server

all my other users get a "License not found" error [-96.491.0]

The three users have connected with AutoCAD Raster Design 2010, 2012 & 2013.

My firewall on the license server is off.

Ports 2080 & 2700-2900 are open.

License Server is Win7 64bit

Thanks in advance.

try setting up this enviroment variable for those 3 users

To enter an environment variable override:

  1. In the Windows Startup menu, right-click  My Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings.
  2. In the System Properties dialog box, Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
  3. In the Environment Variables dialog box, under System Variables, click New.
  4. In the New System Variable dialog box, in the Variable Name field, enter ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE.
  5. In the Variable Value field, enter @YOUR_SERVER_NAME.
If you have multiple servers, you can enter multiple server values. Separate each entry with a semi-colon (;): @SERVER1;@SERVER2;@SERVER3
  6. Click OK to exit the dialog boxes. If this procedure works, you may be finished.

Came in this morning and everyone can connect. I didn't do anything since my original post. So now I'm at a loss. The only think I can think of is Trend Micro anti-virus on the license server is turned off, that's it.

I think it was our Tend Micro anti-virus software. I turned off the Trend Micro, however our server doesn't have any anti-virus as of yet.

What settings do I need to set in Trend Micro to allow the license manager run and have Trend micro protecting our license server?

In general license server need to have Inblound TCP ports 2080 and 27000-27009 excepted in all firewalls.
