I know there are other posts like this but we feel we have tried all the suggested workarounds in order to solve our issue with obtaining a license from the License Manager. Flex license manager just keeps popping up asking for server.
Our License Manager is running on a Windows 8 PC on the network called 'Mull'.
LMTOOLS are seeing all our relevant multi-user licenses and shows '2 licenses issued, 0 in use'.
We are also running our Thinkbox licenses from the same License Manager, these are also active and are being obtained by our render slaves without any issues using the @Anonymous server address.
However from the workstation client we cant obtain a license using MULL, @Anonymous
- We have tried pinging the server and there is no problems here
- We have turned windows firewall off COMPLETELY on the server
- We have added the environment variable suggested in this forum on the client
- We have tried from several clients on the network
- We have tried accessing license manager from the client using http://mull:27000 or http://mull:27008 but get an invalid response in chrome or 'Wê-60Wê-60Wê-60Wê-60' using Edge browser.
- We have even tried accessing the license manager on the actual server using the same as above including localhost.
- We have also tried using the servers IP address instead.
Is there something we have missed?
