Inventor Installer Doesn't List Inventor as One of the Available Install Options

Hello all. I have tried both 2015 and 2018 versions of Inventor (Educational). Both download just fine. However, once the install wizard opens and I navigate to install options, the actual Inventor program is not listed. I installed the program successfully a couple days ago but to the wrong hard drive accidentally. So I uninstalled every Autodesk program and followed all of the directions for deleting residual Autodesk files, including in the registry. I also ran the program CCleaner. Fusion installs just fine but Inventor simply doesn't show up on the installer now.

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

AMD Phenom II X6 1045T

8GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

I have a screenshot.

In case this helps or not, I cannot get these files to delete from my Temp folder:

Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Welcome to the community..

Most like you installed using the web installer the last time and that doesn't actual provide the actual software media on your machine.   Just follow these steps:

Download and install per:

1a. Pre-2018 Version: Access the Autodesk Virtual Agent and follow the download links to your product.

1b. 2018 Version: See this posting

2. Download all of the parts (some applications only have a single part to download) for your product first. Do not continue until all of the parts have fully downloaded.
3. Navigate to your download folder location and extract (double click) part _001_00X.sfx.exe (or the single file download).
4. In a few seconds the extraction will start and prompt you to extract to C:\Autodesk.
5. Once the extraction is finished, the installation will automatically start.
6. Follow the installation steps for your product

If you want the full recommended installation steps, click on the installation link in my signature.

However if the installation does fail using this method, please post your installation log file here so we can review it.  Posting info: Sometimes installation log files contain personal information such as your serial #.  Prior to posting your log file please make sure to remove such info.

Good luck on your installation and report back on your progress.

Note that Inventor is not listed. I am at a loss for why that is.

It looks like you are picking the tools & utilities..

So are you seeing 3 buttons?  Install Tools & Utilities, Create a deployment and one big button that states Install? If you are not seeing these 3 buttons than you are not following the directions/steps I provided.
