After using a 30day trial of Lt, I then registered for the student version. However, I continually receive a prompt that my product key is invalid. It is the product key I received via email. How should I resolve this issue and move forward?

Can you specify which Autodesk LT product you are trying to use? There are a few of them and you didn't indicate which one exactly..
