I am a student and am having trouble downloading autocad. It says it is installed but it isn't. I need to chat for help and don't know how to get a live person instead of the virtual help. Can someone please email me at kadkins1127@outlook.com and let me know the process for chatting a live person. I am very frustrated and need help. Thanks so much. Kim

Hey Kim,
Not sure if you've already figured this one out or not, but just wanted to add that "the software is already installed" error messages are typically resolved by running Microsoft Fix-it.
I could use a live person as well.
I deleted my 2005 from my old laptop to give to my daughter. Installed it into new one, but need an activation code asap. Sitting hours from home, autocad timed out, no autocad, 5 guys waiting on me.......very unhappy!
How do I get one? Brent
btw, its been activated three times since 05 because of computer upgrades. Tried to get a trail and no luck.
running win 8 - 64 Autocad worked fine under administrator. I just use a laptop as a secondary on the jobsite.

Sounds like you're familar with the system requirements / wanted to point out for anyone else that looks at this thread that the 1st Windows 8 supported version of AutoCAD is the 2013 release with SP2.
Windows 8 and 8.1 Support for Autodesk products
I was / am having difficulty installing software and on one of the support pages, a chat window opened and I was able to chat with someone. THey offered a link to the software, but it still doesn't work and I can't seem to navigate back to the page with the chat, even though I saved the URL, in case. THe URL took me to the contact page, but I couldn't find a way to activate the chat again. Tough to get help.
Hi @Anonymous Welcome to Autodesk Community!
Here's how you navigate to our Live Chat:
Hope this helps!
Lynn Zhang and Philip Schmelzer, as representatives of Autodesk, why don't you give us your nembers so that we may contact one of you and have our call forwarded to the propper channel. I have been trugging through the Autodesk website for an hour and I have to say, the way you guys handle customers is just about as conveluted as your software.
Hi @Anonymous,
Perhaps you can explain your issue / what you are trying to find on the site? That would allow me to help troubleshoot or at least get you pointed in the right direction, as well as identify any documentation gaps. Apologies for the inconvenience but hopefully we can help get this taken care of ASAP!

Can you post reference information about this "XFORCE Keygen"?
I followed these instructions and got only a blank page. I have been trying to contact support to no avail as I puchased new ACADLT today and it won't load, had trouble downloading, support said they'd wait to help me but I got up to do some dishes and when I got back the thing was downloaded and the support guy was gone. I have a case number but all I get is blank pages at Autodesk when I try to contact them. I can't even sign into the account I just set up today. Very frustrating.
Hi @Anonymous,
Welcome to the Community.
Sorry about that, I tried re-syncing your account and subscription, could you try to access your AutoCAD LT software once again and also try to log-in to your Autdoesk Account to see if you are now able to access it? Let us know how it goes.
Thank you,
@Anonymous Also I would recommend posting your problem just once and not in multiple areas.
