Error occurring When trying to install Autocad Architecture 2010 64bit

Hello Everyone,

Im trying to download AutoCAD Architecture 2010 64bit onto my external hard drive but I get so far with the installation and an error message displays saying

1: 5 2; FAILED TO INSTALL/UNINSTALL THE ANCHOR SERVICE 3; 1007

I have disabled my Spyware / antivirus but still no luck!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I need the software for a UNI assignment asap!!

Are you trying to install on to the external hard drive or only the download is on the external hard disk ?

If you are trying to install on the External hard disk, it might not be a good idea.

if you are trying to install to a local disk, please try the installation in diagnostis mode

Hi,

Turn off user account control (UAC), then restart and it installed.

Yeah I was trying to store it onto my external hard drive and run it from there

Is this not recommended??

Do I need to download it again and store it on to my laptop hard drive?
