Test fit living hinges

Hi

I've designed a box with living hinge corners, and I'm wondering how I can bent the part, so I can test fit my design to be sure the top lid will fit the tabs.
In the attached picture you can see an example.

Thnx in advance

Bruce

Welcome to the Fusion 360 community!

First I want to say that is an awesome part! It reminds me of this kerf chair I want to make on OpenDesk.

Currently, there is no bend command in Fusion. However, sheet metal is on the roadmap could provide some similar features.

In the meantime, you may be able to use a work-around solution like the ones showed in the below screencasts to create the part.

In your case, there may be some additional work to "wrap" the relief cuts around a bend. Have you tested using the Project to surface command in the sketch drop down menu for this?

I note that a bend command has been accepted in the Fusion 360 Ideastation, which means it is earmarked for future development efforts.

The Ideastation is the best place to post feature enhancement request. Feel free to vote up the idea if it is something you would like to see.

I hope this helps!

Thanks,
