"Unexpected error" during installation

Every time I try to install the trial version of Fusion 360, I get an "Unexpected error", and it says to attach the autodesk.webdeploy.streamer.log file. I tried closing all programs, including my firewall/virus scanner, and I also tried rebooting, to no avail. I'm using Windows 7 64-bit (bootcamp on a Mac). I get this message only on the first installation attempt. All subsequent installation attempts result in a "Unable to install at this time. Please try again later". I enter the Task Manager and close "Streamer.exe" from the background, then I would get the original error message upon retrying. I've attached the streamer.log file to this post.

I downloaded the trial version from http://www.appstreaming.autodesk.com/install/app/73e72ada57b7480280f7a6f4a289729f/

I note the below line in the installation log file.

OSError: [WinError 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions

You may consider trying to reset the internet connection settings. It seems that there may be a connectivity issue.

Reset Internet Options:

  1. Clear the browser cache
  2. Browse to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Internet Option
  3. In the Advanced tab, select the Reset button to reset Internet Explorer's settings to the defaults
  4. In the Security tab, select Reset All Zones to Default level
  5. In the Content tab, select Clear SSL state
  6. Select Apply

In the Control Panel >> Internet Options >> Connections tab >> LAN settings >> Do you have automatically detect settings enabled?

Can you think of anything else that might restrict network access? Do you have any difficulties installing Fusion 360 directly on Mac OS?

I uninstalled my firewall (TinyWall) from my computer and the Fusion 360 installation seems to be working now. It's strange, because I tried quitting it before attempting to install Fusion, but that didn't help. I also had tried allowing the installation process from within the firewall. I hated that firewall and was looking for just one more excuse to uninstall it anyways.

Thanks so much for your help.

PS. Yes, the installation worked fine on my Mac.
