You are correct, the hyperlink information is not part of the resultant DWF.
I will log a defect and leave it up to QA to investigate this. An update
will be provided once available.

I created a MSWord document with some links in it that pointed to other
places in the document. Those links work fine in the Word document but
appear not to be honored when you use DWF writer to convert that document to
a DWF file.
