Xref not showing during Batch Plot, But shows on single plot.

Hi guys, really need your help on this. I am trying to plot 96 sheets/layout on my civil 3d project. But the problem is the Xref does not appear if I use the batch plot. But shows during the single plot. I am using the same plot style on each plot. See the image below as an example. I need the road Xref to show on my sheets:

Are you batch plotting using the Command: _PUBLISH  ?

If yes, switch off background plotting and check then once again.

Command: BACKGROUNDPLOT 0

Are we not allowed to plot in the background then? It is either you get XRefs or Background plotting? Not both?
