The Alignment profile got zero elevation

Capture00000000000.JPG

HI everybody,

While I was creating a junction I noticed that one of my alignment profile has taken zero elevation and the start and end stations disappeared. Why this happened and how I can fix it?!

Sounds like you have used the intersection wizard. After many attempts I now have a no wizards policy.

I just use connected alignments for junctions as the junction wizard gave undesirable results like this and I wasted a lot of time repairing them

Hi sir,
First of all Thank you for your answer. What do you mean by connected alignments?

So how do you create your junctions without junctions wizard?

it depends what version of Civil you have - connected alignments have been around for a few releases now

Sorry Neilyj,
I have another question. What can we do for lanes widening by connected alignments. How can we do lane widening by this ability?

I think there is an offset option in connected alignments but you can also just use the widened alignments as the when specifying the alignments to connect.

You should also know that the connected alignment start chainage is based on the first one picked so if you are consistent then you only need one kerb return assembly (usually)
