Try this way.
work on a duplicate file to avoid any missing of datas. once you got the result you can save as with the original name.

1. Explode the polylines.
2. Type "FLATTEN" and enter
3. Now you can join with polyline edit.

I recently was using the LINEWORKSHIRKWRAP on 3dline work and the command would be a LWPolyline that was drawn with extrusion direction relative to UCS.
The flatten command did not work and modified the line work with different x:and y: coordinates.
The solution I found is to use Civil3d's CONVERTPLINES. Then use CONVERT3DPOLYS. After doing these two commands, it generated a LWPolyline with a Z elevation that I was able to change back to Zero and removed the "relative to UCS". This also kept the x and y coordinates the same.
