Hey guys. So, I installed the new 2024.1 update and it jacks up the Toolspace, so beware. See video on the issue...

I did not have this issue

Did you restart the computer after installation?

Yeah, had to reset settings to default in order for it to work. It seems to be isolated to docked/hidden Toolspace.

@Todd_Rogers My toolspace is on my left monitor (undocked) and no issues here (so far anyway) with 2024.1

Looking like it may be linked to the auto-hide feature if you guys aren't experiencing it.

I am having this issue. Mine is anchored to the left and on autohide.  If I uncheck allow docking I can move it but it will happen again every time I open the program.

When it's moved try saving as a new workspace until the issue is resolved?

So far nothing has fixed it. I've locked the docked toolbars and panels, saved workspace, saved as new workspace and it still does it on every program start.  Even changing workspaces doesn't fix it.  I have to uncheck allow docking and because I have several docked on that side it is out of order from what I had.

Might have to uninstall the update.

Only way I got it fixed was to reset settings to default.

REGEDIT, navigating to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R24.3 and deleting the folder ACAD-7100:409

I have the following folders under R24.3 so I assume that it would be the ACAD-7100:809 that I'd remove should the need ever arise?

You would have to click on it and to the right, make sure it says Civil 3D 2024.

Don't believe everything you see...😉... the inventor node was selected when I opened regedit; it is for Civil

Not noticing the toolspace issue.

I installed the same recent update and my Dynamo will not function correctly. When I launch it it goes to the opening screen for dynamo, but there is no text or menu options, i.e. it is blank. Attempting to close dynamo causes it and Civil 3D to hang and a not responding message and I then think the Windows message dialog shows asking if i want to find an online solution, etc. I press cancel and the programs close.
Luckily, were not using 2024 for production work yet, preferring to wait for for first service packs to come out.

@lim.wendy @Todd_Rogers I have seen, and reported, essentially the same issue which I've seen in older releases of C3D. The only difference being is it is the LayerManagerPalette which gets docked and the cursor cannot be used in the area to the right of it. I believe I first noticed it in C3D 2020, and it would crop up randomly. I have not seen the issue quite a while now.
