Problem with -Metric D A CH-

I'm trying to use some styles such Door Tags, Window Tags and so on picked
from Metric D A CH directory of my italian version of ADT3, but they don't
work as I would expected.
When I drag a symbol in the drawing and then select the object (a door, a
window or an area) the Tag disappears... (!!).
Other Styles (such Metric or Imperial) work fine.
Any suggestion?

Hi Michelangelo,

please note the following :
1. the schedule tags react in general to the annotation plot size value
which is defined in the drawing setup dialog / scale tab (Desktop > Drawing
Setup...).
The annotation plot size itself is influenced by the custom scale value on
the same tab and by the "size", which was used, when the tag was created as
design center symbol using _aeccreatecontentwizard.

The block attributes in the Metric D A CH schedule tag files are created
with a text height of 1

This means in a METER drawing with the following dwgsetup settings on the
scale tab and the conditions:
- Drawing Scale is set to 1=1000 (1m = 1000 mm), > this effects that
"Custom Scales" shows 1.
- Annotation Plot Size is set to 0.25
- the schedule tag has "Annotation Plot Size" checked in its content
definition

=> the schedule tag is displayed with a attribute text height of 0.25 (m)

This means also, if you are using other drawing units than METER, you have
to set annotation plot size & Custom Scales properly to get a useful height
when inserting DC content files. But this is also valid in general for
content files from other folder (Imperial / Metric), when you switch between
different drawing units.

eg. for a MM drawing using Metric D A CH content:
- Drawing unit MILLIMETER
- Drawing Scale is set to 1=1 > this effects that "Custom Scales" shows
1.
- Annotation Plot Size is set to 250

Does this help ? I hope so.

Are you in the model space? What is the display configuration setting for
the modelspace paperspace you are working in? Might be a scale issue or
display issue.
