Split a line or curve into 2 segments

Hi All,

Good Day ! Want to know the command and steps to split a line or curve around a line. I want to show certain part of line as hidden and some as continuous. Without trimming and redrawing, is there a command that you can select object to split and line for split ? currently drawn as 1 line, I want to break into 2 lines past a certain vertical line. one is hidden and other visible or continuous. Its ok with lines sometimes but a curve or pipe with bends and radius causes nightmare.

Thanks and regards,

Yash

You will be using "break at point" command (modify> break at point) for this.

Select the command. Then select the curve. Then, select the intersection point between the line and the curve (by using snap).

It will be done easily.
