Search and Replace problem

Attached is a drawing with a block in it.

The text is one complete multiline attribute with the Tag PHOTO and the default is what you see.

There is a tab and hanging indent between P1a: and Description.

The problem I have is everytime I do a search and replace on this block, no matter what text I choose to replace LT ALWAYS DELETES the tab and hanging indent.

Now if I have few of these to change it's not a problem I can do each one individually, but if I have upwards of 20 to change it gets frustrating

FIND command has no option to deal with multiline attributes from what I can tell: expand the dialog box and see for yourself, it is aware only of multiline text objects but only "block attribute value" items.

But this is what I don't get. You can't ask it to replace tabs and such, so why does it delete them. It will quite happily find and replace the text.

Different object Types, Different Behavior most likely. Someone not paying attention during programming.
