I'm getting hundreds of these messages below, can any suggest what I need to fix to stop them?
*Warning* Multiply owned object, handle "8C652A"
*Warning* Multiply owned object, handle "8C652B"
*Warning* Multiply owned object, handle "8C6534"
*Warning* Multiply owned object, handle "8C6535"
*Warning* Multiply owned object, handle "8C6536"
Seems to happen when saving.
Is it not fixed after opening& re save(as)?
Use RECOVER to open the file,
run -PURGE REG * no
run AUDIT yes
SAVEAS
and try this new file again.
It does seem to have stopped now, I'll monitor it for a while before I accept the solution.
I think it probably happened when copying sections from AutoCAD Architectural and exploding them.

That solution isn't practical as I have so many of the error messages, plus I don't want it deleting things without me know what it has deleted.

Sadly, that's all you get if you wish to solve the problem with this one file of yours.
Here is how to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help if you want other options Autodesk has if any:

Unfortunately, you have limited options for a corrupted file.

I've purged, overkilled, recovered, SaveAs & audited and it still does it, also exploded all the anonymous blocks from ACAD Architectural.
I think as Pendean has mentioned it's time for an Autodesk support case.
Never had this one before & it doesn't seem to affect anything else.
I've submitted a support case and will post here any solutions that are suggested.
While you wait, you may want to try saving the dwg down to DXF R12 format
Then open that & save as dwg.
This may get rid of all offending objects but would let you continue to work on the dwg from this point forward.
Autodesk support have confirmed my suspicion that it was the imported AEC objects causing the problem & the command AECTOCAD (-EXPORTTOAUTOCAD) has fixed it.
I do this many times with drawings & always explode the AEC objects, and this is the first time that it has caused errors.
Some of the errors came back, but having run AECTOCAD, i was able to find and delete all the bad blocks, they were invisible points and the only way to find them was a block search by name using quick select, searching AEC*.* found them one at a time.
