Autocad 2015 crashes when trying to connect to Oracle database

I have recently installed Autocad 2015 and managed to succesfully create an Oracle database linked to it. From Autocad, I created the datasource link, which I can succesfully test ("test connection"). The problem occurs when I right click the datasource link and choose "connect", Autocad seems to freeze and after, let's say, 10-15 seconds it just crashes and closes itself.

As a side note, I have another datasource link to an Access database, which is working correctly from Autocad. The Access database is way smaller than the Oracle one and my only guess is that my database might be just "too big".

Any information regarding this issue will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This is not a reply but an update to the question. The exception being thrown is as follow:

"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at d29fd20fh"

I've seen some posts about this kind of exception, in which cases it usually happens while starting the application. In my case it happens while connecting to a large database.
