Hi,
Thanks, when/if you do get the beta software, would it be alright if you reposted here with the stability of the application?
Thanks again,
Joe
Hi Joe, Autocad doesnt work with Yosemite, tried them together earlier, autocad doesnt respond at all once it opens.
Dear AutoCAD users,
The test with AutoCAD on Yosemite is under progress, so far no blocking issues. If you are also trying that, and find any issues, you can contact us by email to FeedbackACADMac <feedbackacadmac@autodesk.com>.
@daz9096, if you upgraded to Yosemite on the current drive, AutoCAD license files may be damaged. If you installed the Yosemite on a clean drive and then installed AutoCAD on it, and found AutoCAD does not open, please let us know.
Thanks,
Wei
Autocad 2014 apparently works fine with Mac OS X Yosemite instead I got a problem with Maya 2014: after installed the new Os, language magically shifted from english to korean !
Yes, the AC 2014 beta 1 works with Mac 10.10, and it did work with no problem with AC alpha.
And yes, I am an offical tester with Mac systems beta testing group.
And I tested all Mac systems from Tiger to current.
And i tested AutoDesk Mechanical Desktop for Win.
And I tested Win 3.
And I tested DOS 6.1
And I'm a registered user of SolidWorks Pro, AutoCad LT.
But, I miss some of the options of AC windows that are not in AC Mac.
But that's another story..
Yup, I'm running it now.
As described above you need to delete it and the existing license files and then install OSX Yosemite, and then AutoCad again.
Hope this helps,
Joe
Hi,
I've recently upgraded my 10.10 Public Beta 2 install to 10.10 Public Beta 3 on my MacBook Pro Retina. I'm noticing now that the track pad gestures to scroll left and right no longer work. Those gestures instead now zoom in/out. The pinch gesture still zooms in/out as expected. I have tested this in other applications, and the normal scroll behavior works as expected so I believe this to be a new issue between AutoCAD LT 2013 and 10.10 PB3. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this or not.
Thanks!
