Civil 3D object enablers

I upgraded to AutoCAD 2015 but the engineers in my office are still on earlier versions of CAD.  Even with saving back to 2010, most of my drawings could not be opened by anyone else so I was asked to uninstall 2015 and go back to 2014.  I get a proxy graphics box for everything I try to open eventhough I have downloaded every possible object enabler available on the AutoDesk list.  Any suggestions?

You could change the settings with system variables or through the options so that you dont see the proxy warning. Not sure if this is what you want though.

Variable – Proxynotice
Displays the notice warning the drawing contains proxy objects. A proxy is also created when you issue a command that unloads a custom object’s parent application.

   No proxy warning is displayed
1     Proxy warning is displayed

Variable – Proxyshow
Controls the display of proxy objects in a drawing.

0     Proxy objects are not displayed
Graphic images are displayed for all proxy objects
2     Only the bounding box is displayed for all proxy objects

Variable – Proxygraphics
Specifies whether images of proxy objects are saved in the drawing.

0     Does not save image with the drawing; a bounding box is displayed instead
1      Saves image with the drawing

There is no enabler that will enable your 2015 objects on older platforms.  Enablers work only on the same platform; 2015 to 2015, 2013 to 2013, etc.

Your only hope of your colleagues seeing your objects is to set PROXYGRAPHICS to 1 in all of your files and save them using Civil 3D 2015.

I think I would prefer a correction method rather than a Band-aid. I need
to see what is there. I will keep this in mind though.
