Viewport Print Problem

When I print a drawing from model space, my linetypes thicknesses and shade come our correct.

If I move the object from model space to paper space and print my drawing, my linetypes thicknesses and shade come our correct.

But if I attempt to plot in paper space a viewport, my linetypes and thicknesses within that viewport simply come out solid black....not shaded.

any ideas?

Is "Plot with Plotstyles" selected under plot options in the plot dialog
box?
Are you plotting with a style or with objects set to lineweights?
Set psltscale to 0 and see what that does.

Yes, plot with plot styles is selected. We are plotting by styles, using pen widths for colors on our laser. Changing psltscale didn't change anything.

A reminder...lines print fine when in model space, or in paper space, but not when printing a viewport in paperspace.

Hey CC;

Is your laser capable of screening? Some are, and some aren't.

When I've had the pleasure (?) of using those that aren't I usually am
forced into making an special CTB (I know you said STB) that will take all
the Screened colors and instead use very thin lineweights.

Would your STB (or a new one named for this laser) have the same options?

HTH

It is capable of screening, although with XP, LDD3, and a laserjet 5000, we have had trouble with new drivers.

But like I said...

It prints right when printing objects within model space.
Prints right when printing objects that are place on paperspace. But we are having trouble with linetype (screening) printing correctly when viewports are used.

You are not using plain 'vanilla' AutoCAD, are you?

Repost in an LDD group, it's a problem found there, not here.
