Alias Wire files created in on Mac not opening on PC

Recently I migrated from a Mac to PC and now my Alias Wire files created on the Mac are opening blank on a PC (no data at all), the space is blank when I try to open the Wire files. Can anyone help please?

I have done a test with Alias 2016 and 2017 on a Mac to PC and the other way around, and there seem to be no issue so far.

So the question is:

1.: Can you see objects in the SBD window, (Main Menue > Utilities > SBD > SBD Winodw)  or is this empty as well?

2.: Are there objects in the Object Lister (Main Menue > Windows > Object Lister)?

3.: Have you enabled "Show > Model" within the Viewport. See my screenshot here:

4.: Can you recreate the issue by just creating a new scene and putting in a Sphere for example?

5.: Can you attach or send me such a file?

6.: Which Alias versions are you using?

Thanks Florian, after following your suggestions and further checking, the root of the problem seemed to be a locked folder on Dropbox...all is good now.
