I am not familiar with Cadpipe, but it seems coming from anywhere to Revit results in more of a learning cliff. It is suggested by a number of experienced users, here and elsewhere, that you are better off forgetting about prior CAD knowledge going into Revit, as it really is a very different program. In fact, one LisaDrago has in her signature line "You can't think AutoCAD and run Revit."
