I am building a Family of Breaker Boxes. One of the types is a mounted Box on an XFMR Transformer stand. This type has a mounting bracket consisting of two 1-5/8" unistrut pieces and a access fitting. Im trying to set a yes/no parameter to the visibility of these parts making up the mounting bracket so they don't appear on the standard Breaker Box type.
Is this possible to accomplish within the same family? What is the best practice for this exercise?
You can select one or more extrusions and link the VIsibility Parameter (under Properties) to a Yes/No Parameter. To establish the link, click on the little gray button to the right of the Visibility Parameter and then chose the desired Parameter from the following list. Then under Family Types, you can disable that Yes/No Parameter for all of the Types except for those that have wall brackets.
