existing linetype

Since the graphic override treats all existing elements the same. How do you show some of the existing elements grayed out as existing but also dahed for example a line showing the existing roof overhang above should be dashed.

You'd have to create a dashed linetype, that is gray, instead of black. By naming it, you can tell when to use it.
