I have both Revit Architecture 2011 and 2013 installed on my Win7 (64bit) PC. With latest Microsoft updates came new version for Nvidia display driver (Quadro FX 1800), and it works fine with Revit 2013. But with 2011 I encounter problems, objects and walls and texts are multiplied and dislocated.
Both versions of Revit are up-to-date. Anybody, any ideas to solve this? Because I install the older driver and after that MS update pushes the new driver to my PC, and Revit gets confused again.

Revit uses hardware accelleration to speed up some functions. A better solution would be as follows:
First uninstall the update using system restore if necessary, then:
Pull up System from Control Panel
Click Advanced System settings
Click the Hardware Tab
Click Devices Installation settings
Then Choose No, Let me Choose what to do
Click Never Install Driver Software from Windows Update and save changes
Then when Nvidia's update shows up under Windows Update, right click it and choose hide update. This will prevent Windows from repeatedly attempting to install the new driver.
Hi,
With the Hardware Acceleration switched on you can also try installing the Autodesk Recommended Graphics Driver for Revit 2011/2013. I had a look and there is different certified drivers for 2011 (v265.70) than 2013 (v276.42)
So I suggest that you try the 'oldest' one which is v265.70.
Firstly make sure you know which graphics card you have in your PC.
Visit : www.autodesk.com/graphics-hardware
Set Step 1 to Graphics.
Step 2 : Select your Software ie. AutoCAD and version.
Step 3 : Select OS and click FIND
Download the drivers and install.
