You need to make a curtain wall panel that has offsets that extend passed the mullion and an offset property to position the panel to the front of the wall. Revit will automatical shrink the panel to fit inbetween the mullion so a 2" wide mullion will cause a 2" wide gap, thats why you need to modify the panel family to counter that. See attached family. The mullion itself can be a plain rectangle.
