C3D cannot pull license

I have just deployed C3D 2008 software suite. When opening C3D it tries to verify license. It then brings up the prompt to continue trial or register product. The odd part is that the LDD and Map companion recognize the license and work just fine. Could the problem be in the deployment? Thanks in advance for your help

I just had a similar experience with LDT2008 Companion. Every time I would
run the deployment from the computer I created the deployment on, which is
also the machine I had set up as a replacement license server. It would
install as a stand alone and ask for registration.

I finally created a deployment on my workstation and tried to deploy from
there. On my test computer the installation went fine. I then move the
deployment to the computer I wanted it to be on. It then installed as a
stand alone again. The only difference was what computer it was on.

So now the deployment is on my workstation because that's where it will run
from. I never spent the time to find out why. Hope this gives you some clue.

I am having the same issue with one of the three machines I have installed C3D on. The other two work fine. All three were installed from the same network deployment location. Luckily it looks to be an isolated machine issue and not global install issue.
