Linear array - stretch action no working for 1 user

I created a block that everyone can use in the office except for 1. When they try to stretch, the grip moves, but not the stretchable item. in another DB, they can stretch but the wipeout stays put. Again, everyone else in the office CAN do these without a problem. 

any clues?
