After I installed DWGTrueview 2013 64bit, I can open it initially after installation but after I close out of the program and re-launch the same icon that I use wants to re-install DWG. Here is the message I get after I try to re-install
"There is a problem with the installation and DWG Trueview cannot continue.
This error may occur if the registry cleaner software has removed or altered registry keys that are required to run DWGTrueview.
To restore the required registry keys you will need to reinstall DWG Trueview using the Add/Remove Programs functionality in windows Control panel."
What is the solution to this?
The error would indcate you have a Windows Registry Cleaner running on your PC: this must be turned off permanently if you want to use Autodesk products.
Find it and turn it off: then reinstall the viewer.
I tried to look for a registry software but came up with nothing. I then decided to run a malware scan and it came up with 46 objects. I removed the objects and Trueview is working again.
