Copying Viewports

I am unable to copy viewports from one layout tab to another. I select the viewport, ctrl-c, go to the next sheet and ctrl-v. Nothing gets pasted, or else the last thing on the clipboard prior to the copying of the viewport gets pasted.

Please Help

Shut down, and restart your PC, Windows problem/conflict should go away.

By the way, copying anything else is ok (notes, arrows, etc)

Forgive me, I lost the VIEWPORT part of your post.
Select then right-click on the pasted viewport, select Display viewport
Objects>Yes.

There is no "pasted viewport". That's the problem.
Here's a scenario:
1. successfully copy and paste a note (note "A") from one sheet to another.
2. select a viewport and copy it to the clipboard
3. paste onto another sheet.
Result: Note "A" appears for you to click into place. I would expect to see the viewport awaiting a pastepoint instead, but it is as if I never copied it.

Is your viewport on a locked layer?
