I have used the Geo Location tool on a couple occasions with good results. Recently I tried it again and this time, after I set the location and place it on my drawing, when try to zoom in close, the image goes away (instead of getting fuzzy), with the cross-out camera icon on it.
Why is this? When using the geo location tool to find and set the location, I can zoom in very close until it gets blurry with no problems.
What am I missing?
Are you using AutoCAD 2014?
Either way, some areas on the globe have different levels of support of image resolution. The "cross-out camera icon" shows that the location you are looking at does not have very detailed images or images at your zoom level.
I know it doesn't really solve your problem, but I hope this helps a little.

The frustrating part, as posted initially, is that when selecting the locatin, I can zoom in quite close, but once it is selected and placed, that zoom factor goes away. I have played with a few different coord systems, but nothing has changed yet. This, coupled with the fact that I can not print these images keeps me going back to Sketchup.
