Just upgraded to Map 3D 2013 and I'm noticing some strange behavior.
First: When I hover the mouse over a turned off frame (such as for a wipeout or an image) and click, it selects that frame.
Second: Even with the option turned off in Raster Design, Shift+Click always selects a raster image, overriding the deselect option.
I've googled the two problems but with no luck. Is anyone else experiencing these issues, and does anyone have any insight into them?
Thanks

Hello
A few "fast" ideas :
- Have you the same problem if you launch your MAP 2013 with a Profile WITHOUT Raster Design ?
- Have you installed the SP 2.1 for MAP 2013 ?

Perhaps use FRAMESELECTION variable. (Set it to 0)

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.

If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
That's fixes the issue with the frames, but the issue with shift+select is still there.
Thanks Grantspirate I was having this same problem with the current drawing I'm working in.

Hi,
>> but the issue with shift+select is still there.
Start command MAPIOPTIONS (with "I" in it!), go to the second tab ("Common") and uncheck for "Image-selection using Shift-Mouseclick" (sorry for not exact wording, I only have the German version of Map3D).
