You may only need 1 0 instead of 1 1 0 in your script, which defines the scale and rotation angle.
Also, do you need a minus sign "-" in front of your insert command? like so? -INSERT
*EDIT* Try adding a leading space for the third line onwards.
Thanks for the reply, unfortunately nothing worked.
I get this in the text window when it stops.
After a lot of messing around, I found that I had to put in the block name after each set of coordinates. Also a kudo to scottwilcox as he was right about only needing 1 0 after the coordinates
FYI, this worked on my AutoCAD 2011:
Hey, it works on my 2014 too... I could have sworn I tried it like that but I must have had something different. Thanks for the info.
If you have the information in excel you can copy this into a word document. Save as plain txt, inserting line breaks. Change the extension from txt to scr
The solution is the same..
But a better solution is to use the scale option of insert command.
If you insert a block, defined for 'scale uniformly' only, acad ask only one time for xyz-scale.
If not, acad ask for x and y scale.
