I have a problem when I paste a block, that it is off the snap value by a small like 0.000099939.
I know that Cut with Base Point will work, but why not the following:
Did messup my original drawing template?
Thanks.
Test Setup:
set the dimention precision to 8 places, DIMDEC 8.
set the SNAP On with the value 0.0625 (any)
draw a box 3 x 8 (lines or pline)
draw X & Y dimensions from one of the box's corners to someware in space
Notice the nice numbers are to the snap value.
Cut (ctrl-c) the box and Paste (ctrl-v) it someware in space.
draw x & y dimensions from one of the box's corners to someware in space
Notice the values are Not exactly on snap.
End.

Hi, try typing in UNITS and see what your precision is set to for lenght. change it to 8 places and see if it makes a differance.
You need to use COPYBASE and snap to a corner for a base point.

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.

If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.
Not sure why it does it but for some reason pasting off the clipboard does not honor the snap setting. If I just copy the box, the dim will have the right value but not doing a ctrl v.
I was hoping to avoid the extra mouse clicks and realigning with the snap.
The standard cut/copy and paste is just not reliable.
I will just use the cut/copy with BASEPOINT CTRL-SHIFT-C from now on.
Thanks guys for your replies.
