2014: Horizontal and verical lines differnt display as different colors

Just like the title says. On my LED monitor (Samsung XL2370), horizontal and veritcal lines display as different hues. Is there an Autocad setting to help with this or is it maybe some setting on my monitor?

Hi,

welcome @forums.autodesk.com !

I guess it's the resolution you've set for your graphics card that is different to the monitors "native" resolution.

Change the resolution to the maximum possible.

To verify if it's monitor/gc or if it's AutoCAD you can:

a) create a screenshot and save it as JPG

b) open that JPG with any graphic software like photoshop

c) rotate the image by 90° (so the lines that were vertical are now horizontal)

...now verify if "the error also rotated 90°" ... or not, if not it's "horizontal on monitor" (and not done by software).
