Enabling the browsing of Vault folders during operations such as Copy Design would be helpful in determining locations and available file names. This would basically make the Copy Design or other operation window independent. Other examples of operation windows that could be independent are: change orders, edit items, etc.
The Vault 2015 R2 Implementation of Copy Design runs as a separate window meaning users can still work in Vault explorer during Copy Design configuration. This was also implemented for items in 2015 and we will continue to look at this approach for other dialogs.
