LS division has informed that they need the Deep copy function in Upchain cloud before go-live. So this is a High priority feature-request.

Copying existing designs is one of the most common exercises the engineers do. A lot of the Items they are copying are very large SW Assemblies. In the prior system, this could be initiated from the Java client and they were notified once the New Items were created. Currently their Solidworks session is tied up busy where they can not do any other work while the Solidworks Open, Rename, Rereference and then Register new Items processs take place. When this process took place on GPS, it took a little longer to complete the process, but most of the time was parallel time where they could perform other work.
