Files changed pop up during check-in/save-in operation

Files changed pop up during check-in/save-in operation

Users get a pop up that some files that are not checked out are changed. This pop up comes up during check-in/save-in process. However this pop up only displays file name and no other detail. It is difficult for user to figure out what item is that based on file name in most cases.

Request is to improve the message. The message should include the following: Item number, Item name, Status.

User also should be able to copy the text within the pop up to clipboard.

It will be good to make this popup persistent on the foreground too.

This popup comes up so frequently and 99% of the time when it doesn't appear real/interesting (I think just opening up a file to view something triggers the flag for it) so I think users click-thru / disregard this popup almost universally.

Is there a way to make it more useful?

Otherwise I'd rather that it not be persistent because just more difficult to manage.

The purpose of this message is to notify the engineer that some of the files were changed locally but because they are not checked out those changes will not get pushed into the Upchain, they will remain locally.

It is hard for the system to know what the intentions of the engineer were when they modified the file. If you are modifying files locally you might be doing some analysis or moving parts (e.g. cylinder) to check for clarences but you do not want to push those changes into the system.

If you want to see that message lees you need to change your design approach to modify only the files you are working on.
