Inclusion of Eurocode 9 in design code checking

Inclusion of Eurocode 9 in design code checking

Having worked on the design of aluminium structures and having to create all the calculations by hand (a tedious, labour intensive task) , at a clients request I was ask to investigate software's to analyse and code check aluminium structures to Eurocode 9

I have found that there is very limited available aluminium code checking software on the market, finding only one that did not involve the use of a very expensive full on FEA package

I think there would be a market benefit including the Eurocode 9 in the design code checking list for Robot

Sorry for the mistakes. I have machine translated the text.

Autodesk Structural has only a few materials. Much less than the competing SCIA or DLUBAL. Aluminum alloys, glass, masonry and more are missing. For aluminum, there is only the old French standard AL76, which has not been used for a long time. Currently, the French use NF EN 1999-1-1 "Eurocode 9 - Calcul des structures en aluminum - Lots 1-1: règles générales". The program doesn't evolve, there are only minor tweaks and the biggest leap is the addition of wind analysis.

Przepraszam za błędy. Tekst przetłumaczyłem maszynowo.

Program Autodesk Structural ma tylko kilka materiałów. Dużo mniej niż konkurencyjna SCIA lub DLUBAL. Brakuje stopów aluminium, szkła, murów i innych.
