Also, please make sloped Walls able to Host Rebars. The "wall by face" of today is not able to host rebars. Thats a problem for us structrual engineers.
After having to switch from Revit to ArchiCAD for modeling purposes one of the first things I've had to do using Revit is model a sloped and angled wall.
I did a bit of Youtube searching and couldn't believe how much of a farce this process is, considering it's just a setting in ArchiCAD which has been there for the last 4 releases roughly, i thought the process would be relatively similar.
Come on Revit catch up! The amount of time required to create these walls is just ridiculous either through the massing process or via creating Revit families.
We are in a great need for a slanted wall , just a generic slanted wall , its angle of slop to be under control , just a new wall type as the slanted columns,,,,,,
Without sloping walls (define angle of both faces) and without variable wall thickness, Revit is absolutely unusable for monuments restoration. Its fine to make complex wall using Mass Modelling. But make it behave like a regular wall (hosting openings, rebars and other elements, etc.).
I am already have created the sloped wall (slopping from one face) by using in place family , but I have a lot issues as updating the profile (for design modification) , inserting openings as windows and doors which act with a very weird behavior and could not be hosted all the time.

And make it possible to use linear sweeps around corners with them.
Of course geometrical correct to get height points for each top and bottom point we need. This is possible when defining more than one path to sweep along.
