In a project I'd like to keep the name of family types or materials consistant with or without uppercase or lowercase. Sometimes I make a typo and want to change the first letter from uppercase to lowercase or vice versa. Revit gives me a warning that the name is already in use. I can't think of a situation where you want the name of a family type with uppercase and without lowercase. How do you know which type you need? You always need to specify the type name or material name with more than just a uppercase or lowercase.
