Users should be able to see the properties of each of the "Scan Locations" and "Classifications" that are listed in the project navigator.
For example, I would like to minimally see the number of points in each Scan Location as well as each Classification.
This would greatly help the user to quickly see what effect the Automatic Ground Classification (AGC) and the Decimate Points (DP) tool had on the point cloud.
Another feature that would be beneficial would be the ability to compare the statistics of the point cloud before and after running DP. The values I would like to know would be the mean and average change in elevation across the area of the point cloud. A representation similar to the Volumes Dashboard in Civil 3D as well as just the data would be even better so that I would know where the decimated surface might not be as accurate as I need it to be and therefore I would need to do more work at sectioning off areas in ReCap before decimating. I need more information on what ACG and DP is really doing to the point cloud to be confident that it is not going to cause problems due to more inaccuracy than I has assuemed. I can go through the process of bringing into Civil 3D each time I run ACP or DP, which I am having to do now, but in my opinion, I think it is really something that shouldn't require the use of Civil 3D to analyze the point cloud. The function should be in ReCAP already.
