Mesh-Creation is a powerful feature within Recap Pro being able to use the translated point cloud data and create some visualizations and animation-videos in another applications such as Autodesk Maya/3ds Max. At the moment as RecapPro user I can choose between OBJ and RCM+NWC as an output format.
Personally, I think GLB is going to be a standard regarding final file sharing (Files which are ready-to use and do not need any further manipulations/editing).
GLB format is very compact regarding file size and is rather fast loading compared to other formats such as OBJ.
Of course OBJ is a reliable format and a lot of applications are able to read/import it. Nevertheless GLB would be a good choice/option for some users within Recap Pro for the future.
