I would really like to be able to lock the scales of the plots when I split the screen. This would be incredibly helpful when analyzing warpage results, especially when identifying the cause of warpage. Currently the option to activate the "Consider corner effect" is in the main window of the process settings. For new users it is perceived as an extra feature for warpage calculation that only "adds/improves" to the calculation. I suppose that this is due to it being right after "Consider mold thermal expansion" and "Isolate cause of warpage" which actually "add/improve" to the warpage calculation.   That is not the case as when used with not "box shaped" it produces unstable and wrong warpage results. Moving the option to Advanced Options could reduce the impression that it improves the warpage results. Show More

Legend bar for warpage plots is shown only in terms of positive numbers (0 being the least up to highest deviation) which can be misguiding at times if not scrutinized very closely. Currently there is no way to easily visualize “direction” of the deviation for a warped face/feature. There should be a provision to adjust legend bar showing numbers as +ve (Regions moving away from nominal surface) and -ve (Regions moving inside of nominal surface or wall thickness). I have attached an images showing a real life example to briefly describe the issue. For features like sealing surfaces, it is very important to understand whether predicted feature will be undersize (less seal compression, leakage path) or oversize (more compression, but no leakage path) so ability to visualize warpage as +ve or -ve will be very helpful in such cases. Hello,   Is it possible to determine the Shrinkage/Warpage in the moldflow insight and then perform the Reverse Engineering. for e.g Defining the geometric dimensioning and tolerances to the parts on the design stage and after the first of tool parts (sample part) performing in Detail testing of those tolerances using the optic meterology. Comparision of the actual data to the design data and thereby performing the sensitivity Analysis and also the design of experiments considering the different Inputs/Parameters for the next design of the parts if the material remains the same. In short, can we use the deflection/shrinkage resullts from Insight and perform the reverse Engineering for better design of new parts.   Any Suggestion or recommendations would be very Kind.   Kind Regards Samkit Show More
