I think most of us use the default 80% of injection pressure for packing pressure in the first simulations of a product. Sometimes the injection pressure is not too high and thus the packing pressure would not be enough to compensate shrinkage properly. (Below 30-40 MPa). I would like to suggest adding a "Minimum packing pressure" option to avoid unnecessary reruns of simulations because of improper packing pressure. So if 80% of injection pressure is below the specified "Minimum packing pressure" value, then the minimum packing pressure value would be used instead. I know with experience you can estimate pressure, but with more injection locations and on a big and complex part, it is not easy, but the computation time is high. Thank you!

Hello, On some mold, there is a possibility to have an variable heat rate. Actually, it is fixed. it could interesting to have this option of having a variable settings in modelization. Best regards Cédric

I have often cores or part inserts with possible moving directions which are different to the local coordinate system. Setting correct one-sided constraints to these parts, it should be possible to define a local coordinate system before. Regards Bernd

The settings of the weld lines result for midplane, dual domain, 3D and the user-defined plot are inconsistent. I would like to have a consistent setting for this result (Plot properties -> Optional Settings -> Color) "From red to blue". However, if it may not be convenient for whatever reason to define it as "From red to blue" for all of the mesh types as well as for the user-defined plot, I would like to keep this setting for all of my weld line results at least. It's error-prone having to set this for every weld line result in every study in every project again. I know the option "Save Properties of Current Result" in the Results menu, but this does not save the Color setting.
