Problem with scanned STL data (blue lines?)

Hi,

I am currently dealing with 3d scanned pelvic bone and extracting auricular surface(AS) for analysis.

There are some problem in one my scan but I don't have idea to deal with this problem.

The first pic is before extracting AS and the second one is after extraction (the inner of the AS).

Usually, I saw blue lines formed on the boundary, but I have no idea why it is also in the middle of the mesh.

I guess there was a problem while merging the scanned data on Artec software, but could I deal or solve this problem on Meshmixer?

Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you in advance!

You'll have to attach the .stl for a better look, but I'd guess you have overlapping layers, meaning multiple objects. Try:
