Anomalous Beam Element Result

Hi,

I ran a simulation on a frame assembly using beam elements and got high stresses and an anomalous result.

Hi @mayowaQ2ABG

It looks like the ends of some of the beams are not connected together. Inventor normally detects when lines intersect and automatically joins the beams, but sometimes it does not detect the intersection. According to this article, you can try a smaller mesh size. If that does not fix it, you can split the sketch lines where the beams should intersect but the beams are not connected. See Beam elements not connected together in Inventor Nastran analysis
