We're running Inventor 2024 and I fired up Inventor Read-Only to view a machine someone else is working on. Recently I set Inventor Read-Only to view style shaded with edges, one color - black, use application settings. When the model pulled up, it was shaded but with no edges. I checked my settings, checked Application Options, closed it and re-opened, and no matter what I did, it would only show shaded, no edges. Then I just happened to notice it had loaded the machine in Express Mode. As soon as I loaded full, TAH-DAH, there were my edges.
Come on Autodesk, why not allow shaded with edges when loading in Express Mode???? There's a reason people use Express Mode, and a reason people choose shaded with edges, but kind of crazy to not allow shaded with edges when using Express Mode. 🙄
